Founded in 1948 as Wright Airways [founding motto – “If there is air, we’ll fly you there!] by Al Wright, an Athabaskan born in Tanacross and raised in Minto. Based in Fairbanks, Wright Air remains deeply-rooted in rural Alaska --- we recognize that the existence of safe, reliable, and cost-effective transportation is a foundational component of modern-day village life in Alaska.
Wright Air is now hiring for counter, freight, and ramp positions for the current 2022-23 winter "aurora" season --- ideally, a successful "aurora" season candidate will be available to begin work sometime between immediately and beginning of February 2023 and be able to work thru 31 May 2023 [or beyond].
A coworker who successfully works a minimum 4-month season will earn a $1,000.00 season completion bonus [increased proportionately for a longer than 4-month season] --- the intent of which is to help defray the costs associated with the coworker’s responsibility to provide their own transportation to/from Alaska.
ALL COWORKERS ARE PROVIDED LODGING AT NO COST TO THE COWORKER.
